Between Stories
Anisa Topan works at the intersection of ambition, reinvention and cultural narrative.
She is a broadcaster, cultural commentator and former agency founder who supports creative women and founders through pivotal chapters of growth.
For over two decades, her work has spanned strategy, public relations, presenting and deep 1:1 consultancy: always centred on clarity, positioning and voice.
Rooted in Legacy
In 2013, Anisa founded The Twenty Fifth Hour, a London-based fashion PR agency that grew from a freelance venture into a multi-client consultancy generating six-figure revenues.
Known for championing independent brands with bold, conscious identities, the agency specialised in visibility strategy that went beyond press - shaping perception, influence and long-term positioning.
That commercial foundation informs everything she does today.
The Through Line: Voice
Behind every campaign was something deeper.
Clients weren’t just seeking coverage: they were seeking clarity. Over time, Anisa became known for helping founders articulate who they were becoming, not just what they were selling.
That instinct has evolved into focused 1:1 strategy and advisory work for women navigating reinvention, leadership and visibility.
Practical. Direct. Results-driven.
Broadcasting & Cultural Commentary
After appearing on The Apprentice (BBC One, 2017) and experiencing the mechanics of televised ambition firsthand, Anisa transitioned from participant to analyst.
She now provides regular commentary for BBC Surrey, covering formats such as The Apprentice and The Traitors, and hosts a weekly live culture show on Hoxton Radio.
Her work explores ambition, identity, power and the stories we tell about success, with humour, insight and commercial awareness.
The Show (Spring 2026)
An intimate filmed series exploring what happens in the space between who we were and who we’re becoming.
Honest conversations. Cultural context. No performance.
Anisa’s work bridges strategy and soul, commerce and commentary, visibility and depth.

How I Got Here…
Anisa Topan is a London-born communications strategist with over two decades of experience across fashion, media and cultural storytelling.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins (BA Hons, Fashion Communication & Promotion, 2004), she began her career working across television, luxury fashion and independent retail - including Channel 4, Agent Provocateur and Coco de Mer under founder Samantha Roddick.
She went on to build her reputation within leading London PR agencies before launching her own consultancy in 2008, advising independent fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands on positioning, visibility and narrative strategy.
By 2013, she founded The Twenty Fifth Hour, a London-based agency that worked with an eclectic roster spanning emerging designers, cultural institutions and creative disruptors.
Her client portfolio included London College of Fashion’s MA show, designers such as Mary Benson and Sadie Clayton, cult label A Child of the Jago, and activist-led cultural campaigns including Burn Punk London with Joe Corré.
Her work frequently operated at the intersection of fashion, art and activism - shaping stories that carried both aesthetic and ideological weight.
